Our story

We started selling Kraft Paper in 1989 as Sangeeta Agencies distributing 70-80 tons a month with a small team of four. In 1995 we opened Bangalore Paper Agencies which was rebranded as New Rain in the year 2008.

The name ‘new rain’ is inspired by Rabindranath Tagore’s poem ‘Nobobarsha’, which celebrates the joy brought about by the first rainfall of the monsoon season.
